Interest Groups are places where you can connect with other people at Pacific Crossroads. These groups are informal, led by people of the Crossroads community. Some Interest Groups meet weekly and others just a few times a year. Click below to explore groups. You can email the contact person to get additional details and meeting times.
The PCC Legal Professionals Group meets over quarterly dinners for mutual encouragement and fellowship. These dinner meet-ups provide a friendly setting for attendees to connect meaningfully with one another over common interests and issues unique to the legal profession. To be notified about the dinners or have questions, please contact Junwen and/or Diana.
This is a group for physicians. Our goal is to create a supportive community of Christian doctors. We will meet monthly for either social events or service activities through Hope for LA.
With this group, our hope is to create and opportunity for those interested or involved in small business and entrepreneurship to connect. Members will support, collaborate, and inspire one another with the gifts that God has blessed us with. As Timothy Keller’s book Every Good Endeavor demonstrates, we seek to find our professional calling where our work and faith are integrated. With this group, we will serve one another in that journey. We hold monthly online video conferences and will have quarterly in-person group meetings.
Modeled after the traditional Artist Salons of the past, we will eat delicious food, discuss intellectual pursuits, and share our artwork and ideas with one another. We will also have occasional outings to lectures and art museums.
Peaceful Hearts – Support Group for Women Facing Infertility or Pregnancy Loss
This group is a biblically based, Christian group for women struggling with infertility and/or pregnancy loss. During our meetings we share, discuss related topics as they connect/challenge our faith, read scripture, pray for one another, and offer information. All women with infertility/loss related issues are welcome (i.e. male factor, primary infertility, secondary infertility, pregnancy loss, repeated chemical pregnancies etc.). We meet monthly. Please contact Anne to confirm the next meeting.
Sports & Recreation
We have a court available for basketball pick-up games, Sunday nights from 8:00 to 10:00 pm at John Adams Middle School.
The PCC bowling league exists to knock down pins… and to meet new people, make new friends and make a big church feel smaller. The group is also open to friends not a part of the church. No experience is required.
Come join us for pick up soccer in West LA. This is a group for all skill types, from beginners to advanced players. Our goal is to have fun and get some exercise while enjoying playing “the beautiful game”. We meet at Mar Vista Recreation Center on Saturday mornings, once a month.
Hiking and Outdoors
Welcome to the PCC Hiking & Outdoors Interest Group. We will be organizing hikes and other outdoors-related activities/adventures (e.g., camping, skiing, kayaking trips).
Softball in Culver City throughout the year. Always looking for more players. For info on the co-ed team, contact Josh Lai at email@example.com.
Is there a more perfect place to play Ultimate Frisbee than Los Angeles? Come join us as we start the first ever Ultimate Frisbee group at Pacific Crossroads. We will be exploring both beach and grass versions of the game all over LA. No experience required.
Did you know badminton is fastest racquet sport on the planet with shuttlecocks travelling faster than a Formula 1 Racecar (421kph!)? What other reason do you need to join us? The group meets every week.
Arts & Entertainment
Monthly gathering for people who love playing all sorts of different board and card games. New players are always welcome. Come check it out – you may find a new game that you haven’t tried yet! Contact us here!
If you like watching massive explosions on the big screen, or even intimate, little stories, you just might enjoy the Movie Watchers Interest Group. Once a month, we’ll watch a movie in theaters and grab dinner or drinks afterwards.
Museums and Cultural Events Group
A meeting group for people interested in exploring the art and cultural scene in Los Angeles. We will organize monthly outings to places like LACMA, the Broad, the Getty Center, and other art/cultural exhibits that come into town.
Got a book you’ve been meaning to read, but can’t seem to make the time? They say joining the gym with a friend increases the chances you’ll work out. So BYO reading material and come work out your reading muscles over coffee and cookies. For those who want, there’ll be a chat session afterwards where people can discuss what they’re reading. We meet monthly and in various locations around LA.
Explore new restaurants in the LA area. Each month we will try out a new restaurant to enjoy (hopefully) good food and great company.
