Welcome to PCC Parents Resource page!
Our desire is to partner with you and support YOU, the parents, to help your kids know, love, and follow Jesus. Life can get busy (as you all know), and building intentional spiritual practices into your daily, weekly, and monthly rhythm is crucial in helping kids become followers of Jesus. We want to give you the tools so you can journey with your kids as they discover:
• they are created and known by God,
• they are loved by Jesus,
• they are led by the Holy Spirit,
• and they can become more like Jesus as they discover their identity and purpose.
We have provided content that will help you disciple and engage your child, no matter their age. Below are some quick links to help you get started.
Recommended Bibles
Read Aloud Bible Stories: Volumes 1-5 (Ages 0 - 3)
This classic children’s story Bible always has God as the hero not the people! At the end of each narrative is a helpful page titled “What did you learn?” It states a few brief God-centered points in order to promote discussion with your child.
Laugh and Grow Bible for Little Ones (Ages 0-3)
The Laugh and Grow Bible for Little Ones will guide readers from Genesis to Revelation, retelling beloved Bible stories AND tackling tricky questions like “What is sin?” and “What is the Trinity?” Each story is vividly illustrated, takes just five minutes to read, and includes a family connection to encourage family Bible study and help readers learn, talk, and pray together in just 5 minutes a day!
My First Hands-On Bible (Ages 3 - 6)
My First Hands-On Bible is a fun and simple yet meaningful way to engage preschool, pre-K, and K children with the Bible while helping them build a solid faith foundation. Each lesson focuses on a specific Bible point through a variety of activities in order to reinforce and help young children remember the stories and lessons. Using common household items, you can help your children have a “hands-on” learning experience while engaging them in 85 key stories from the Bible. My First Hands-On Bible also includes actual Scripture from the easy-to-understand and easy-to-read Holy Bible, New Living Translation. The Jesus Storybook Bible (Ages 4 - 9)
