Pastoral Search
The formation, and then the work, of PCC’s Pastoral Search Team was to be among our most important steps forward together with Jesus in seeking the renewal of our congregational life. Christ has brought us a long way together in these last months! These next steps prayerfully will launch us toward a beautiful and fruitful new era ahead in the life and mission of PCC. These truly are exciting times for us!
Alex Watlington Affirmed as Senior Pastor
We rejoice in the Lord’s blessing and sovereignty as He led PCC through the search process for our next lead pastor. On Sunday April 30, the Pastoral Search Team (PST) joyfully and unanimously recommended Alex Watlington along with his wife Becki and three sons, Monroe (11), Whit (16), Miles (14) to be PCC’s next senior pastor.
On Sunday, May 21, members voted to affirm Alex Watlington as the new Senior Pastor of Pacific Crossroads Church. Please take a moment to read the letter from Alex accepting the call to PCC as our senior pastor. Alex will start preaching on Sunday, July 2nd and will be formally installed as our senior pastor on Sunday, August 13th.
Learn More About Alex
The PST has grown to know Alex better over the past months and truly believe that because of his experience in ministry, God-given skills of leadership and shepherding, and a true heart for the gospel of Christ, he is the man to lead PCC in this next season of the church.
In hopes that you can get to know Alex and his family better, we have prepared the attached brochure with a letter from the PST, biography and testimony of Alex as well as resume highlights.
