Mari’a Cleverley
Accountant / HR Manager

Mari’a was born in southern California. She spent a portion of her earlier years in Colorado where she attended elementary school to later return to Los Angeles. Mari’a brings over 18 years of vast Accounting experience from Public Accounting, Aerospace, Commercial Real Estate and Non-Profit organizations. She credits her passion for the industry to her grandparents who were church bookkeepers and very active in the choir at their Christian church in Phoenix, AZ.

She currently resides in South Bay with her bright, creative and very active 8-year-old son, David. David is an avid artist and enjoys coming to the PCC children’s ministries on Sundays when he’s not playing soccer, baseball or taking piano lessons. They enjoy their time together watching the Los Angeles Dodgers, playing on the trampoline and being outdoors traveling on some fun adventure. Their home is full of laughter and love.

When it comes to work/life balance, Mari’a knows how to have fun. She loves kayaking, reading, gardening, making jewelry and hiking.

Mari’a was called to Pacific Crossroads because of her longing to do something of meaning and to give back. Being an Accountant at PCC is more than a job; it is fulfilling a divine purpose.  She eloquently quotes, The meaning of life is to find your gift.  The purpose of life is to give it away – William Shakespeare
