Rankin Wilbourne, Pastor

Rankin grew up near New Orleans. He worked in corporate banking for five years before deciding to become a pastor. After his training at Princeton Theological Seminary, Rankin was Minister of Teaching and Missions at First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga.

He likes the fact that Los Angeles is a town that turns around the idea of story and the need for a redemptive ending.

Rankin enjoys most any sport, poetry (especially Robert Frost), and music (especially Bruce Springsteen).

Rankin was married to Morgen Kleinknecht on February 23, 2008.

Marshall Brown, Assistant Pastor

Marshall was raised in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in history and a minor in business administration. Sensing that the Lord was calling him to ministry, Marshall studied at Reformed Theological Seminary and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree. He has served as a campus minister with Reformed University Fellowship for the past six years.

 Dave Masoner, Executive Pastor

After a career in higher education as a professor and administrator, Dave, along with his artistic wife Barbara, was called to PCC to "come and love the people." And that's what they did and continue to do. With maturity and tenderness, Dave has overseen the leadership essential in a mission church without a permanent building. Born in Pittsburgh, married and believers for nearly forty years, Dave and Barbara have five children and four grandchildren living from coast to coast.

Becky Nelson, Director of Children's Ministry

Becky has always loved kids. When she moved to New York City after college to start her acting career, she helped start Redeemer Presbyterian Church's children's program. In 2000 Becky moved to Los Angeles and started working with the budding children's program at PCC. Since then, PCC and the children's ministry have grown considerably. Becky and her husband Durrell are also thrilled to help grow the children's program personally, with their sons, Ben and Anthony, and their newest addition, beautiful Sabrina.

Chris Weldon, Director of Worship Arts

Chris and his wife Rebekah moved to Los Angeles in 2002 from San Francisco. They've since happily added their daughter Savannah and a dog named Diesel to the mix. Chris has been a pianist since his elementary school days in Minnesota, eventually moving to Manhattan where he earned a doctorate degree from the Juilliard School. When he isn't playing piano or directing worship, Chris enjoys being with his family and reading an occasional book.

 Mark Jean, Director of Music

Mark, originally from Houston, has been a musician as long as he can remember. After graduating with a degree in music from Belmont University in Nashville, Mark toured as a guitarist with various Christian bands, eventually moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music production and songwriting. In 1998 Mark met Paula. They married 2 years later. They now have 2 sons, Marcus and Max.

 Hannah Franklin, Administrator

Hannah was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was working as a CPA there, but when a job opened up in Los Angeles, she was excited about a new adventure at PCC. (So far, she says, it's lived up to her expectations.) Hannah's family is large and close-knit, including 3 siblings, 12 nieces and nephews, and even children of nieces and nephews. She loves outdoor activities, including walking on the beach, hiking in the hills, and hang gliding.

Dave Kleinknecht, Director of Hope for Los Angeles

Dave grew up in New York City and moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California. After graduating, he spent four years with Campus Crusade, first at USC and then with Here's Life Inner City. While working on a national project for Here's Life, he coordinated events to connect corporate resources to urban pastors and community leaders who have committed to caring for the poor. Dave loves visiting new places, enjoys the relative purity of college sports, and spends most Tuesday nights at Rocco's Pizza on Wilshire.

 Jeff Raycher, Pastoral Intern

Jeff is originally from Memphis and has lived in Los Angeles for the past ten years. Jeff is currently studying theology at Reformed Theological Seminary. He heads up our Welcome Team and preaches from time to time at PCC. He loves sports and the beach and is an avid sand volleyball player.

 Daniel Keck, Site Manager

A native of Los Angeles, Daniel grew up just a few miles from where PCC meets on Sunday. He started working for PCC in 2002 while he was still a student at University High School. Since then, his role at PCC has grown. He now manages a team of volunteers who prepare the University High School location every Sunday for the PCC worship service. In his free time, Daniel enjoys being with family and friends. He also enjoys movies, music, theater, and outdoor activities.

Laura Love, Assistant Administrator

Laura Love grew up in an Air Force family and has lived all over the United States, including overseas tours in England, Hawaii, and Korea. She graduated from Vanderbilt University, with a double major in Theatre and Communications. A thespian at heart, Laura can be found singing show tunes, along with praise songs, and rehearsing monologues, while printing Sunday bulletins. She also enjoys running, reading, and Bay Cities Deli sandwiches at the beach.
